Included in Dance Studio Sale-Nutcracker 2018
This is a production that features parts for ages 3+ and includes choreography for recreational ballet, tap, and jazz or hip-hop. The original cast featured 57 dancers, with many parts double or even triple cast, so it could easily accommodate 100+ cast members.

Party guests. We do have several men's costumes, boy's costumes and various additional sizes of women's and girl's that we did not use this year, that would accommodate a larger cast
Drosselmeyer brings the Ballerina doll and the Nutcracker doll to life. The handmade masks(see next photo also for Rat King mask) were a new addition for this production. There are both adult and child size Nutcracker Prince costumes, but only an adult size mask. Note: Only the ballerina masks is still available.
Rat King doll. This was a new costume for this production, except he tail, which was taken from an earlier "Furry" suit which is still available. The free standing fireplace and the cardboard clock (still looking like new) are from our first production in 2003.
Toy Soldier dolls dance at the party.
In previous productions we had a mechanical monkey doll(seen here in a 2011? production), 2 Raggedy Ann dolls (not pictured) a Jack in the box (Now used in the Rudolf production) All are still available. Note: Windows and drapes in photo are no longer available.
Clara gets her Nutcracker gift (no longer available). The head is attached with velcro so that Fritz can "break" it and Drosselmeyer can "fix" it..
After the guests leave, the maid cleans up and yawning, goes to bed. Clara enters in night gown, retrieves her Nutcracker, and falls asleep on the so the sofa. The tree now grows from 8' to 12', Drosselmeyer appears over the clock as it chimes midnight. Mice surround Clara.
Toy soldiers come alive and battle the mice. We have 12 mice costumes for ages 4-6 and at least 12 soldier costumes of various sizes for ages 6+.
Mice battle soldiers with 2 cannons. We have 2 smoke machines for smoke effects that can be included. Rat King enters, threatens Clara. Nutcracker comes alive, battles Rat King.
Nutcracker and Clara travel through the Land of Snow. Note: Snow structure center stage is no longer available. We have more snow costumes available of various sizes for age 6+
As snow falls, snow angels lead Clara and the Prince out of the Land of Snow.
Nutcracker brings Clara to his Land of Sweets kingdom. Note: Candy Cane structure center stage is no longer available.
Spanish dolls dance. We have 2 more adult/large child and 1 more small/medium child Spanish costumes
We have a wide range of other Arabian costume sizes not seen here from age 7+.
Dragon fits up to 6 students ages 3-6. We have many different variations of Chinese costumes for a wide range of sizes ages 7+. hats are no longer available.
We also have a wide range of sizes of Russian costumes from ages 6+
Peppermints dance. We have many more pants to fit sizes 6+ and several more leotards. This is the original Candy Cane structure from our first Nutcracker production, and reverses for use in the snow scene and has been used in the annual lighted Christmas parade float. We also used it in the Rudolph production. In later years we started making all new scenery out of light weight high quality cardboard professionally painted that looks beautiful onstage and is (see photos below, second is sideways showing the back) reinforced on the back and using sand bags weights to keep securely standing (much easier to store and move!)
Mother Ginger hoop skirt can accommodate up to 6 gumdrops, ages 4-6, hidden under her skirt. The 6 gumdrop costumes reverse to be mice for Act I.
In previous Nutcracker productions, we did Waltz of the Flowers with 4 costumes, sizes medium child to adult.
Sugar Plum had new wings added for this production.
